MTV version of the popular Manhattan Public Access show.

Each episode re-tells the story of two global music superstars through a nostalgic look back in time to present day, all through the lens of the MTV cameras. From their first introduction on MTV News ("you hear it first") to pop culture-defining performances on TRL, the VMAs and EMAs, they’ve been Punk’d, showed us their Cribs, and shared intimate stories on The Ride, Diary, Yo! MTV Raps, and countless specials.

MTV Girls on Top showcase about the issues, women face in the country. The three girls in the show will try to deal with job issues, love issues and also domestic issues.

In 1987, MTV added a weekly news program to its usual music video lineup. Reporters Kurt Loder and Serena Altschul provided in-depth reports on concert tours, album releases, sales figures and other breaking stories from the world of music.
